Where we deliver

UMRUT currently accepts orders for serviceable addresses in India. Enter a complete address and the correct six-digit pincode. An incomplete or inaccurate address may delay delivery or prevent a courier booking.

Delivery charges and free delivery

The delivery charge is calculated for the current order using the shipment origin, destination pincode, order value, parcel details, and serviceable courier options. The amount shown at checkout applies to that order. If the order qualifies under the active free-delivery rule, the benefit is applied automatically.

Courier selection and delivery estimates

UMRUT automatically selects a delivery partner from the available serviceable options using the store's active selection rules. The delivery window shown with the quote is an estimate, not a guarantee, and may change because of courier operations, weather, local restrictions, or events outside reasonable control.

Processing and tracking

Order processing begins after payment is confirmed. The selected carrier and tracking reference appear in your account when they become available after booking or dispatch. The courier may contact the recipient at the Indian mobile number provided for delivery coordination.

Address changes and cancellation

Request an address correction or cancellation as early as possible from your order page or through customer care. We will review the request, but a change or cancellation may no longer be possible after the shipment has been booked, dispatched, or delivered.

Returns based on preference

Dhoop is a sacred aromatic product intended for personal use. UMRUT does not accept a return or exchange because you changed your mind, ordered by mistake, opened or used the product, or did not prefer its fragrance after delivery.

Damage, defects, and product-quality concerns

If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, materially different from its description, or materially later than a stated delivery schedule, open a product concern from Account > Orders or contact hello@umrut.com as soon as reasonably possible. Include the order number, a clear description, and photographs or video where useful. After reviewing the facts, UMRUT will communicate an appropriate outcome, which may include replacement, refund, or another remedy where applicable. Nothing in this policy limits rights available under applicable consumer law.

Approved refunds

An approved refund is returned to the original payment method unless another method is required by law or agreed with you. The time taken for the credit to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank. Delivery charges are included only where the approved resolution or applicable law requires it.

How is my delivery charge calculated?+

It is calculated for the current order using the shipment origin, destination pincode, order value, parcel details, serviceable courier options, and any active free-delivery rule. The amount shown at checkout applies to that order.

What if my pincode is not serviceable?+

Checkout cannot proceed for an unserviceable pincode. You may try another valid Indian delivery address or contact UMRUT for assistance.

How do I qualify for free delivery?+

Any active free-delivery rule is evaluated automatically against the current order. When the order qualifies, checkout shows the delivery charge as free.

Can I return dhoop because I do not prefer the fragrance?+

No. UMRUT does not accept preference-based returns or exchanges after delivery. You may still report damage, material delay, a defect, an incorrect item, or a product that is materially not as described.

How do I report a product-quality concern?+

Open the delivered order in your account and submit a product concern, or contact hello@umrut.com. Describe the issue and include photographs or video where they help show the concern.
